In an interview with OK! Magazine, Britney says:

“My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don’t eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I’ll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch. I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.”

Britney Spears’ mom told her once that she had the best figure of her life after giving birth to Britney’s brother, so she had optimistic expectations for her post-baby figure.

Her hour-long sessions are broken out into three separate cardio routines: the elliptical, kickboxing and a combinations of squats, lunges, and jumps to tone trouble spots. She also added abdominal work and pelvic exercise as well as free weights for strength training to her daily routine.

As for her diet after childbirth, the Oscar-winning actress sticks to a diet of lean proteins, complex carbs and vegetables and eat small meals every few hours. She also avoid any sodium-rich or fried food to manage her blood sugar levels for her diabetic condition.

Halle Berry Diet Tips For Mums After Childbirth:

  • Get moving as soon as you can, this will benefit you in every way: lose weight, get the blood flowing.
  • Don’t overdo it: your body has been through a lot of change with the pregnancy so progressively getting it back into shape is important. Slow and steady wins the race.
  • Drink lots of water, not juice or coffee. It helps flush toxins and reduces bloating.

While many mums aspire to have the post-baby body of their favorite celebrities, keep in mind that celebrity mums weight loss is usually under the direction supervision of a nutritionist and trainer.

I have always wondered how celebrities lost the weight so fast. I had always assumed that they work out 6 times a day and fast or drink juice. It is nice to know that they are regular gals. I am doing Atkins, which seems to be what they are mostly doing. I am going to reduce the calories though.

I really don’t have time to work out as much as they do, but I do stand on my feet all day at work and have a 3 year old! I do get some excercise ha ha .
